I often wonder about Mary. Who she was. Who her parents were. How she was raised. Who her friends were. But mostly, what was so special about her that she was handpicked to carry the Son of God, Savior of the world.
We aren’t told much about her life before the angel visited her. She is only mentioned a handful of times after Jesus birth. But be assured she was called and chosen by our Heavenly Father for a purpose beyond her wildest dreams. To give birth to The Messiah.
But I also humbly and guiltily marvel at her response when the angel appeared with the announcement.
