Still not physically up to writing a full-length article, but I wanted to touch base with all of you to let you know that my neck surgery went well and I’m slowly recovering. My doctor said the normal recovery time for this surgery I had is around six months, but my hope is to gradually pick up the things I was doing before.
I saw the following graphic last night as I was looking at the website where I get most of the backgrounds for my blog graphics, and I wanted to share it with you this morning. Life isn’t always easy, but God is always caring, loyal, loving, and so much more. And He also empowers us by His Spirit to demonstrate these character qualities to the world. As our pastor says, we are saved by grace and grace alone, but if we are saved we will have evidence of it as we become more and more like Jesus and less and less like the world around us. Make it your goal today to reflect Christ to those around you who don’t know Him.
I’m so glad the surgery went well, Barbara. Continuing to pray for you as you recover. Thanks for sharing the graphic too- great encouragement!
